This was a mid-table National League Division 1 played at Titwood on 30 November. Clydesdale had the best of the first half, but Inverleith fought back in the second to secure a 2-2 draw.

Some photos from the game are of limited quality due to the poor light.

I made it down to the Scottish Cyclocross Championship round at Irvine Beach Park for the first time on 24th November. It’s a terrific course, but hard going for the competitors with steep sections and lengths of soft sand to plough through.

Western Wildcats v Grove
The ladies from Grove are dominating the Scottish 1st Division once again, and have won all of their games so far. They were the visitors to Western Wildcats on 23rd November, where the frost on the pitch only just melted in time.

Grove were well on top through the first half and they built up a 4-0 lead. Wildcats had a better time after the interval and they were rewarded with a goal after a series of short corners. The final score was 6-1 to Grove.

The University American Football season started a week ago with last year’s top team in the north, Stirling, thrashing Glasgow.

Glasgow Tigers pulled things back together on 3rd November as they hosted Edinburgh Uni Predators and won by 27-14.

Kelburne v ClydesdaleTwo of the top three teams in Division 1 were in action at Glasgow Green on 2nd November.

First up were the champions, Kelburne. They seem to be getting over their early season loss of form as the overpowered Clydesdale 8-0.

Hillhead are still the league leaders, and they had rather a harder time against Dundee Wanderers. They eventually won 3-2, only after a fraught second half during which the Wanderers equalised twice.
